Answer:

The recommended PSI is a minimum of 90, and the recommended CFM is minimum of 5. If your compressor can really handle this minimum, the number of gallons don’t matter. More capacity is always a good idea though since sometimes manufacturers fluff the numbers and “real life” use doesn’t match their claims. You could always test their claim (and get the hang of the hopper application) by mixing up some drywall texture from your home supply store to the consistency we recommend and seeing if you can shoot the entire 1 1/2 gallon capacity of the hopper without stopping. *** Always clean ALL the drywall out of the hopper and gun and dry thoroughly BEFORE using with the bedliner material. ***
