How long do your bedliner and koi pond coatings last? I’ve found that some like Herculiner peel up pretty fast and don’t hold up to any rough use.

Answer:

With any coating or product, lifespan is largely dependent on the environment and abuse it is put to. In general, you can expect your Spray Lining and Coatings brand bedliner or exterior coating to still be going strong after 10 years. The same thing applies to our Seal Tite brand koi pond coatings. These products are formulated to provide the maximum possible lifespan available in a manual mix coating.

For most applications, our standard formulation provides the best results. For special needs, we can adjust the specific product to suit. Some applications may require a bit harder or a more flexible coating. With SL&C and Seal Tite coatings, we can vary the level of flex, in addition to the color.

There may be some dulling over time, but you can also apply a “freshen up” coat to it at a later date to revive that new look. Always feel free to get in touch with specific questions or to get a custom quote based on your coating needs.
