Can I repair my truck bed liner if it gets damaged?
Question:
Can I repair my sprayed in bed liner if it gets damaged? If so, how would I go about it, and do you sell a kit for bedliner repair?
Answer:
SL&C Bedliner bonds 100% to itself as long as the surface is free of oils, waxes, or other contaminants. Minor damage can be easily repaired with a brush or trowel application of any remaining product if you have some left over. We also have 2 bedliner repair kits available. The standard SL&C brand bedliner repair kit is suitable for most repairs, or the Diamondback Ultra Liner repair kit is recommended for extra strength, flexibility, and adhesion. Simply apply our bedliner repair product onto the area, and dab with brush to blend the texture. Major damage is recommended to be removed and re-sprayed.
Spray Lining and Coatings products can also be used to repair other bed liners or as a top coat to extend and save your existing bed liner. Actually SL&C has the only truck bed liner repair kit found on the market and works well for most repair projects. For extra protection and greater adhesion, we recommend out Diamondback Linings Ultra Liner Bedliner. The smaller kit from the available options provides almost 3 times as much material as the repair kit, and has the highest durability overall.
