Does anyone ever use this on the roof of a pop-up camper to prevent/repair cracking?
Although there are some variations depending on the final texture desired and your particular current surface, yes… our coatings serve well as a roof type coating. You can also vary the consistency in order to first trowel or brush into the damaged areas and then spray or roller apply the general surface areas. The primary limitation is that pure white is not advised due to eventual yellowing. For this application, the greys, black, or other colors are a better choice. To apply a white, it is recommended to apply a base coat of light grey, then topcoat with a polyurethane product. The polyurethane is less susceptible to UV caused color changes, and although it does not easily apply thick enough for bedliner type protection, it serves well as a final topcoat.
