Does this help with sound and heat reduction if sprayed in the floorpans?

The best sound reduction will be achieved by applying as an undercoating. This may also reflect some heat depending on the heat source. Applying inside on the floorboard will provide vibration deadening, but not as much overall road noise reduction.
